A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas

Oh my gosh this book!
It took me forever to get into ACOTAR but this one... I was hooked from the start! I loved every part of it. I laughed. I cried. I wished my husband had wings... you know normal stuff.
Absolutely loved this, and I wish I could read it again for the first time. The character development, and the foreshadowing, and the bad ass women warriors. Chapter 48! CHAPTER 54! CHAPTER 55!!!!!! NESTA AND ELAIN!!!!! What a rollercoaster. I already started book 3 about 3 seconds after finishing this one.
Well done Sarah J. Maas! You have made me fall in love with the fantasy world.
BRB moving to Velaris!

I'm at a loss for words. This book was amazing!
I was so hesitant to read this because 1. I don't normally like fantasy and 2. I was afraid Instagram and Tiktok had hyped it up too much, but WOW am I so glad I decided to read it.
Now if I had only read the first half of this book I don't think I could give it 5 stars, its a slow start for sure. However, the second half MY GOD! I understand that the first half was world building and understanding the relationships between Humans and Fae which I now appreciate that I finished. The story took so many turns, it had adventure, love, lust, villains... Villains you start to love... Hero's you want to so much to love but start to get annoyed by for not doing anything (cough cough). Oh man what a rollercoaster.
I have been recommending this to EVERYONE! Cannot wait to start the second book!

I love a good who done it! Really loved this book. There were so many twists and turns, and in the end, I was not expecting for the killer to be who it was. Well done Julia!
I also really loved the that the book was set up in parts, speaking from different characters perspectives.
The thing I felt the story lacked was character descriptions. I like to be able to picture the characters in my mind, so I can see the story as a movie. Thats hard when the characters aren't described very well. The only one I know for sure was Finn, who was described as looking like John Krasinski. I also would have loved a larger part have been told by Wyatt. I felt there was so much more to him worth discovering.
Other than that, the story was amazing, kept me on my toes, I even gasped out loud scaring my husband at one point. Definitely worth a read!

If you're looking for a book to rip out your heart, stomp on it, burn it to a crisp, and then run it over with a car... do I have a book for you! This book made me feel every single emotion in the best way possible! I was sobbing in my bed after reading it.
You can feel the heartbreak of Julie through each chapter. I also think the author does a beautiful job at what it can feel like to lose someone you love. Truly incredible story, that I will remember for a long, long time.
I will say some parts seem jumpy, like you're reading someone's dreams. One random scene to the next. I can look past it though, because grief can feel like that some times. Like you come in and out of reality.
Overall I have to give 5 stars because this book made me feel... EVERYTHING! I love when a book makes me cry, and this one did that in the most beautiful way.
Highly recommend!

It Ends with Us by Colleen Hoover

I don't even know what to say about this book other than it was incredible and had me in tears.
The idea of domestic abuse can seem like an easy fix to someone blessed with never experiencing it, the victim can just leave right? It's not always that simple, and I think Colleen did a heartbreakingly beautiful job at showing that. As someone who has experienced abuse first had, I understand what Lily and her mother have been through. It's not easy.
What had me in tears was Lily's courage. What a beautiful dedication to all the women (and men) who have been brave enough to stop the cycle.
I can also appreciate that not a single character was all good or all bad. People are dynamic beings, and have moments of strength and moments of weakness.
I will say, if you are still healing from your abuse, you might want to skip this one for a bit. It can be very triggering in parts.
With all that being said, I cannot recommend this book enough. I honestly believe everyone should read it to get a first hand perspective of victims of abuse and their mindset.

Well, I wasn't actually sure what I felt about this book until probably the last 20%. I ended up really liking it in the end. The story is a bit predictable, but I still enjoyed reading it.
I did cry in the end which is why it got 4 stars instead of 3. I just felt the middle was a bit meh. The good thing was the ending redeemed for a somewhat depressing and sad beginning.

Ok, I really enjoyed this book! So much!
With that being said, I did find it to be a bit predictable. The pacing was good, and I was never bored reading it. Olive's wittiness was so fun, and I loved her as a character.
Over all a super cute story.

I REALLY loved this book. You could feel how much they loved each other. Poppy and Alex reminded me so much of my own relationship with my husband which made me love the story even more. 10/10 would recommend.

This is really more like 3.5 or 3.75. Super cute read but did get bored with how predictable it was. I felt like I was reading a Hallmark Movie which was fun though! I have the sudden urge to go stay at a small town bed & breakfast.

Absolutely loved this book! While it was a bit predictable, I looked past it because I loved the characters so much. Emily Henry has such a fun writing style, I really enjoy how real it feels. I was laughing and crying and rooting for Nora and Charlie the whole time. Plus I was crying at the end which in my opinion, gives a 5 star review every time. If you can make me feel real feelings from words, you deserve it. Not sure if I love this one more than People We Meet On Vacation, but definitely a close second.
