This book was good, but a little boring. I found myself wondering what was supposed to be driving the story. The action part of the story only really came to fruition at the end in the last 7 pages or so. Sure things happened and there was action, but I couldn’t really find the reason for it in the story.

I found the MCs interesting and their story together was okay, I don’t know that I believed them together. It felt pretty fast even though months passed, but their growing closer was off page a lot.

This story felt much more “day in and day life.” Nothing was really driving the story forward, nothing pushing me to turn the page.

I found the world interesting and their story together relationships interesting and I had a fun time reading it. I might read on, I don’t know.

This book was exactly what I wanted it to be. It had everything I needed, it felt true, real. I cried 3 times. What a perfect ending.

This is a truly interesting world. I don’t know that I’ve read anything quite like it. But I will say parts of this book felt very rushed. I felt the relationship was extremely rushed.

The action/plot of this also felt like it was sprinting in places where it was almost difficult to keep up. I found myself having to turn back and go “wait, how did that happen”. But then there were bit where nothing was happening at all. It was oddly paced at times.

The story is told in the present tense which took a bit to get used to for me.

But overall this was enjoyable and I’m excited to read on.
