Apparently the theme of my reading today was quantity of books instead of quality

It was an okay book. It only takes an hour to read at most. The characters were likeable, the storyline was short so I’m glad it was kept as a novella. Slightly cringy at times, and the ending was bleh. But the writing was better than some of the KU books I’ve read soooo
Wouldn’t recommend but wouldn’t warn someone against reading it either.

This book was okay. After seeing it on TikTok I decided to pick up this book for a quick, one-day read.
I don’t want to be mean but I wasn’t a fan. It was an interesting subject and whilst I know nothing about any form of weather, I felt like the author had researched into this.
That being said, it was pretty disappointing. The characters felt very 2D and only revolved around the main romance. No one had goals or a purpose outside of it, even secondary characters. And the decision Ryker made at the end was crazy so… Props to the author for deciding to do this but if you’re big on character development and fleshed out characters, I would not recommend. Honestly, I’m kind of shocked at the rating being so high.

Honestly, this wasn’t as good as the first—but let’s be real who could top Win & Bo.
It was still fun and a good, quick read and I really loved having a couple that were firm about not wanting kids. Pregancy epilogues are my worst NIGHTMARE.

I picked up and put down this book so many times. It was really hard to get into. Which is why I was going to give it 3.5 ⭐️ but I want Ben Andor so viscerally and zealously that I’m giving it 4.

I was going to give this a 4.5 for the other woman drama bc omg pen shut up but then Lukas said ”I asked for you” and I had no idea a guy telling a girl that he asked his ex gf to ask her to have a threesome was so romantic and yet erotic. I am in love with Lukas Blomqvist which is very disappointing considering the current state of real-life men.
I would trust Ali Hazelwood to write a romance between a sponge and a dish cloth and still slay it.

A good, quick read.
I don’t think the blurb accurately depicts the book and considering they’re supposed to hate each other I would’ve liked to see that. But it was very quick (not quite insta love but not enemies to lovers)

Nina and Matthias are going to KILL me. Read it for them.
But also Kaz Brekker is so crazy unhinged and I love every second of that freak.
