I enjoyed the multiple POVs and how everything tied together. Overall,  I feel this set up things for the next book. I'm looking forward to the conclusion. I  have theories and I want to see if I'm right.

I really liked the story. I loved reading Perry's summer plans and the not so planned. Her journey to discovering the path she will take was was deeply moving. I hope there is a third book someday.

Murder mystery isn't something I pick up regularly.  But I needed a certain reading challenge met , so I chose a classic 👌.  I may not have been invested with the characters,  but I was definitely intrigued and invested with the mystery.

And so ends my snacking experience of speculative fiction and sci-fi! I've discovered a couple of new to me authors, and got to dip into authors already known to me. I would recommend the Black Stars collection to anyone whose curious about the genre, those that want to add more Black authors to their list.

I found the short story interesting. A different take on what could be and how nanites were used was an interesting premise. I do like Nalo's almost poetic prose. 😌 Her writing has a nice flow
