Kinda feel bad for the husband. Yet he made his choices. Also the culture is different from American ideals about marriage, and somewhat status.

I very much enjoyed this finale to thecThreadlight Trilogy.  I was completely pulled into the story. I experienced a need to see good win over evil, and wasn't  disappointed. There were some sad sacrifices, and yet, I saw the beauty in them. A trilogy worth the time.

Every chapter pulled me in more and more. The world building was well done. The magic system was easy to grasp.  The villains were a mix of power hungry and grim dark I love.
All I yearn for in a fantasy.  Dragons, elven, dwarves, mages, giants, mankind, and magic! Animal companions! Plots for power and palace politics! And from what I am told, it only gets better. I am here for it! I'm all in!

I could do without the recap at the beginning to catch up. But if I had waited several months in between reading, I would appreciate it more. It doesn't take away from my enjoyment or my experience reading the trilogy.  I really like the characters, and most of the twists have been quite fun. I'm looking forward to the next book!

I think I'd like to read a sequel to this.  There was struggle,  palace-political intrigue, and kingdom secrets... I liked the magic system as well. Most of the dialog was serious with a nice sprinkle of humor from our characters. Love That.

I was hard-pressed to tear myself away from the final battle. There were some moments I may have teared up 😢. Just a a bit... yep.
I can see why this series means so much to fantasy readers.
I was very satisfied with the ending.

I really enjoyed this novella. I  liked the Devils Night series, and this was an action-packed glimpse of the life after Nightfall with the kids. I hope there will be more of these.
