The inner dialog of the two protagonists was often hilarious.  I loved all the laugh out loud moments. Well worth the read. Felt like a fantasy rom-com.

I waited 30 years to re-read this trilogy! And it was like reading it for the first time! I wanted to pay attention to Samwise this time. He truly is the heart.

I really loved this story. The characters were complex. There was hardship for many in the face of adversities. Either parents or a system that failed them, and yet they find a way to go on. I was thinking this would make a great book club read. Lots to discuss.

I really enjoyed this. I found it very humorous. I might have even found many panels relatable.  Especially the "Pajamas"! 🥰 I really love my PJ's, too.

A short, cozy Christmas read.
I would've liked a bit more depth, but I enjoyed it.

I really enjoyed the story. I know this may not be the last. I loved reading the children's conversations. The found family is so beautiful.  I love the humor Klune uses in the dialog between characters.  Just a great sequel

I wasn't sure if I would get anything useful, but I gave it a try... because everyone has a time when the sh*t feelings are just getting in the way of happierness... also I wanted a replacement for my Buzzword "like" that didn't work out a few months ago. Now I feel like I accomplished a thing, and got some interesting hindsight for making a few habits of thought changes.
Cool. 😎
