What a great time I had with this trilogy as a whole! The 3rd book, kept me on the edge of my seat. The conversations between characters, as well as inner dialog with themselves, just kept the story moving.
The Fight & battle sequences were intense, and often quite gorish. 😳 Who knew this wouldn't bother me so much in a book? I often felt like I was just rooting for some of my favorites to have a good death in battle. I just believed if they were to die it should be with a blade of some kind in their hands. I will recommend The First Law series to anyone looking for grim dark adult fantasy.

The feeling of nostalgia was there for me to dip into Forgotten Realms. I'm happy to have picked up fantasy I'm well acquainted with. Drizzt is an interesting character. From the beginning of his birth, he has been
set as different from his Dark Elf people. He questions, and doubts. No matter how much he is beaten. Will he be his societies undoing? I can't wait to find out.

I so love J.R. Ward's writing. Nicely tied together 3 rd book! With enough to have me wondering if we will see some of the characters pop up in future books! I hope so.

I had a great time reading this , and wanted to pick up book 3 as soon as I finished. I especially like the characters, such as Logan, and Glockta. Morally grey... the torturer darker grey, but there's just something about him. Glockta's internal dialog is the most fun to read.

I loved this so much. The relationships, the found family. The way Elsa and her grandmother loved each other. The way Elsa thought about her granny, and how she interacted with everyone she came in contact with.
I love Elsa! And yes, dang it, I cried. More than once. So good!
