Wow

This book really is like nothing I've read before. First off, I went into the book completely blind. I had no idea the premise of the story or who I'd be reading about. I merely one-clicked and started reading. I was immediately wrapped into the world of Cal and Michael. The writing was so simple, which I thought did the characters' very complex feelings, so much justice. The story didn't add unnecessary frills and flowed along at a perfect pace. I had trouble putting this down and am glad I gave it a chance.

Incredible story of bravery and unconditional love

This is one of the most beautiful young love stories I've ever read. Camden and Royal's feelings for one another are so authentic and romantic and even, innocent. I absolutely loved the way Johnson portrayed their love. I found myself highlighting everything because it was just so beautiful and eloquent and romantic. I found myself in tears and my heart aching on more than one occasion, both in sadness and in happiness. I can see this being a very inspirational story for any young person who feels pressured to live their life to please others, rather than themselves.
