I was honestly surprised by how much I liked this.  It had all of the good beats of a romantic fantasy and I do think we’re just getting started.  I really enjoyed the varied POVs and didn’t ever think it had too many (in fact, I expect more outside of our main POV Raeve next time).  Excited to see what’s to come!

I loved this whole trilogy - each book had a different vibe but it works so well.  Kestrel and Arin are both great POV characters and I’m so glad we got to be in both of their perspectives.  Without going into detail, it’s so fitting to end where we started.

I really liked this!  Cool concept and I think Murderbot makes a very interesting narrator.  Will definitely try the second one soon.

Think it’s important how much this highlights poverty and the perspective it gave.

Because of the style of the narration (of an older Demon recalling the story), it blurred the timing so it could be difficult remembering just how young Demon was supposed to be during certain segments.    Thought he was a good choice in POV character.

I listened to about half of it on audio—Charlie Thurston did an excellent job bringing Demon to life!

Short, beautiful yet sad.  Loved seeing the little glimpse into Arin’s past.  I loved the imagery of the tale his mother shared!

Ultimately a story of resilience among three Weyward women of different eras.  This was good but also very sad throughout (and most of the men just were horrible).  So make sure you’re in the right frame of mind before reading!

I’ll definitely try the Sirens when it comes out.

Very interesting read to start off the year!  While I ended up reading most of it, the audio version had a male narrator for the podcast versions, which was a really nice touch.

I thought it was surprisingly funny amid all of the heavy content.  Definitely would read more by the author!

Loved this!! I was afraid I wouldn’t like this as much as Prison Healer but I definitely did.  Looking forward to Blood Traitor!
