A very tough story told in such an interesting and often humorous way. This is down-to-earth with philosophy woven through. It is definitely not preachy. The deep thoughts of one who knows suffering are presented within the story. I was riveted to this presentation.

It was hard for me to keep up with all the characters and their stories, though each story was very good. The wrap-up of the story was quite good, too. I think I missed a couple of the end stories for some people. I'm left wondering what happened to this one character. I listened to the audiobook, so it would be hard to find the end of that particular thread.

A moving, mysterious story. It is a story of love. It also gives a picture of how power can take over people, a picture that seems very realistic in today's world. Excellent story telling and character development. I found the underlying mystery riveting. I listened to the audio which was done in two voices and was very good.

An outstanding autobiographical work by Carl Jung. I enjoyed his story so much. Included is much of his thought. Such experiences the man had! Writing in his late years, this work is for the lay person. It did reach into places I did not understand at some points, but for the most part it was not only interesting, but helpful. This probably should have been the first book by Jung that I read. I don't think I need to read his scholarly works to get what I really want from him. Highly recommend this book.

A tender story with very real problems and wonderful solutions. I loved the dialog and portrayal of relationships. Highly recommend. I listened to the author narration which was especially good.

An unusual and captivating meeting with extraterrestrial beings. Great description of the environment and heartwarming interactions among humans in the story. I found the story both mind-blowing and warmly compassionate.

I really enjoyed the intensity of these two people in the setting of ranch life. All the characters came alive for a very rich story. It was a long story, slowly developing, but each scene built into a full story that included the family life and animals. Very rich portrayals. That's what I like in a book rather than just the thrills. Not that it lacked some heart-throbbing scenes. It was clean, yet I marveled at how much passion can be portrayed cleanly. I loved it!
