A drum for healing. Several plot lines come together around the drum. A moving and hopeful story involving several Native Americans, trials, hopes, love. I listened to the audiobook and enjoyed it very much.

Absolutely wonderful, intriguing story which includes Austria under the Nazis, making and collection of stamps, a woman in California with a marriage breaking up, and romances of great beauty. Characters are drawn richly and the story is told so well. This is a book with two time/place frames: 1939 Austria and 1990 America and also Europe. I listened to the audio with excellent narration. I highly recommend this for anyone who cares about anyone else.

I got bogged down some with all the physics talk, but the contact with extraterrestrial life is captivating in this story. I enjoyed the impact on the characters as they seek to know the truth.

Excellent explanation of problems with forming good habits and stopping bad ones. There are solutions for each of the problems. He starts off with a key for me which I'd say is basically to concentrate on my system rather than on goals. That shifted my mindset to something I can do now rather than focusing on what will be in the future. This book was filled with information-not one of those that just harps about one thing with complaints about the ways some other expert has it all wrong. This is a solid book with sensible information with a bit of encouragement and some good examples added.

This book has two sections: One on Dreams and the second on Active Imagination. He gives a 4-step process for each method with clear examples. The book is easy to understand. Important points are repeated in with care. This book has helped me better understand what I have read of Jung so far. I have a sense of the importance of my dreams and how I can benefit from them.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 14%.
The idea of many physical problems being caused by emotional problems seems right to me. This book, however, really did not seem to give anything very solid as far as studies on this. The material was basically repeated over and over with expressions of dismay that standard  medicine does not acknowledge the truth of it. I found the book really detracted rather than supported the premise. I didn't get as far as the program he uses to treat the problem. If I had pain I probably would have read more and tried it, but it didn't seem worth my while at this point to read further.

I especially like this book by Grisham, because it is 3 novellas-long enough for full development and short enough to have 3 stories in a book. These are great stories as Grisham's usually are.
