Economics related in a way I could understand. Enjoyable read and thought provoking about how things got to be the way they are with wealth distribution.

The book presents various ways of seeing God. It shows the problems in some images we may have of God and gives alternatives along with reasons why these are equally plausible and seen in scriptures as well.

This is a thorough look at how Eugene Gendlin's Focusing technique relates to developing spirituality. "Bio" relates to the felt sense in Focusing which is in the body, not the mind.

About myths such as the "Wise Old Man" and Progress, "the great myth of modern times". Beware of one-sided myths and also the fusion of myths about gods and humans. Quite a strange book that stirred my thinking a bit.

There are 150 short sayings of some remarkable men. They are clever and at time humorous. They also seem like very solid advice.

What an unusual book! Each chapter has 3 parts. The first is a story of a healing that Jesus did. It is told from the perspective of the one who is healed. That brought such a different view of why the healing was needed and how it was experienced.  The second part is the exploration of various aspects of the text such as word meanings and the times and culture. The third part is a segment of the author's experience of her own transition through difficult times.  The book gave me a fresh view of this ministry of Jesus. I took time reading it meditatively.
