Maybe I was affected by this book more because I had a friend who had attempted suicide at the time I read it, and I was in high school, but I think the author does a pretty good job developing characters who are believable in their thoughts and reactions to this tragedy...

If only these books were more readily available to buy! The first time I read this book I completely fell in love with this genre, and indeed it should be considered a genre-defining collection of stories. I crave for more horror stories written like these.
