The Broken Vow by Scott Westerfeld

This was a bit more exciting than the first! However it felt a bit rushed, but it was still quite entertaining. I'd really like for the series to continue, but I'm also afraid of the third one not living up to it's predecessor, just like this one. No matter what, I'll be looking out for anything else this series has to offer.
Zenobia by Morten Dürr

How can something so short with so few words be this powerful? Something so simple be this haunting? What a mini masterpiece Zenobia is, a need for anyone who wishes to get a tiny glimpse into what it's like as an innocent, civilian child caught up in a war.

What can I say? The art is phenomenal and the story is fantastic; with those two together Simon Stalenhag has become one of the authors I'll always be looking out for. This book is for everyone, extremely interesting sci-fi characteristics and a unique heartbreaking story.

This is the graphic novel that got me in to graphic novels. The art style is enjoyable and a little hard for me to decipher every once in a while but I still understood and was thoroughly entertained with the story. It's almost an apocalyptic novel, only the apocalypse wasn't worldwide, and life is still going on around it, completely unbothered, and our main protagonist relies on this mini-apocalypse. I'd recommend this for anyone who's into sci-fi and graphic novels, really, as long as you're okay with a teensy bit of swearing.

A cute little sequel to a fun, easy story. I'd say this book is just a bit better than the first one, but if you weren't too into Don't Even Think About It ,you don't have to bother reading this one.

I didn't really give this book a great amount of attention and I can't figure out if that's purely my fault or if I just wasn't that into it. I still thought that it held a great deeper meaning, and I feel like this is something everyone should read so that they too can hopefully understand.
Zodiac Starforce, Vol. 1: By the Power of Astra by Kevin Panetta

I loved this so much!!! I was drawn to this novel by the art and stayed for the cute, awesome (although cliche every once in a while) story and of course: the beautiful art. This is such an interesting premise that I've always seen teased on various writing accounts on various platforms (people getting powers based on zodiac signs) but I've never seen anything published and I'm so glad I found this gem (pun intended)!!

Words can't describe how beautiful and unique brilliant this book is.
Or maybe that's just me.
