I actually really enjoyed that!!! It was really good. So realistic and I felt so angry at times omg I hate that stupid stupid Scott dire sooooooo much and John and Jacqueline and Roxy can eat rocks but slay Cal and Sam and Lorna (?). So good on audio and I really got into it and I had no idea where the story was going but I was pleasantly surprised and then OUTRAGED and it was so wholesome too aw but SO ENRAGING
THIS WAS GOOD!!! I was captivated pretty much the whole time and I had to know what happened - both with the trial and the past. Cause I was listening tho I couldn’t remember the names of people or their descriptions too well LMAO and I didn’t know when I had first heard them introduced so couldn’t really flick back to check my theories
I binged it all in a night. I wasn’t obsessed w the writing style at first and she went in heavy with the imagery and scene setting at the start very englishy. But by chapter 1 I was intrigued, chapter 3 I was hooked. THEYRE SO CUTEEEEEEE and I love a training sequence. And so many fight scenes too. EEEE I very much enjoyed def helped resurrect me from my reading slump
Idk when I finished it but I enjoyed it!!! It made me laugh and it felt less serious than other Emily Henry books, and more spicy too? Very lighthearted and an overall good time. Elliott was invested too
OK CUTE I kinda get the hype but then again I kinda don’t. It was good and it didn’t feel like an Ali Hazelwood book except it also did at the same time like even tho she made Misery 6ft tall she was still smol compared to Lowe LMAO. And the 🌶️ scenes HAHAHA WTF Was that 🥨 like fr wtffffffff. But other than that made me laugh a few times and kick my feet. It was good and interesting world building and enjoyable read. I love the found family too
SO GOOD and so heartbreaking I get it now. I wish we got more of their story, and Vera’s too. But it was good, well written and SO EMOTIONAL hits you in the heart every time, even just describing food.
I wish everyone in this series could get 2 books 😭🙏 I love them soooo much but it was good how this one ended. Dark tho and graphic but also Gibsie and Claire are rays of sunshine.
