Yeah I'm not surprised I loved this book.
It was so good!!!
The writing never ceases to amaze me.
Ellie is hilarious! I'd want to be her friend.
And Owen <3
This story is just great in all ways.
I loved the message that comes across too.
If you enjoy your cute fluff ball contemporaries then this is for you.

This book was very... interesting. I mean, after the second Monday, It would appear that Ellie goes a bit... crazy. I mean, who wouldn’t when the day is repeating itself and you’re the only one who realizes it? Speaking of which, am I the only one who thinks it’s weird that Owen texted her the same message Tristan had been sending her all week at the end? Almost as if he knew the day was repeating the whole time? But that has to be impossible because he would’ve had to be an award winning actor to pull off pretending to be oblivious to THAT.
Anyway, I think that one thing that took away from the enjoyment of this book is the fact that the idea behind it wasn’t original. It’s been done in Groundhog’s Day and Eleven Birthdays by Wendy Mass. Also, if Ellie couldn’t realize that no matter what she did, Tristan was still going to end it, then she’s really an idiot.
Lastly, I just wanted to say that some parts of this book could be very adorable or at least funny. At the end of each day, there’s a part titled “How We Were.” Those parts were ADORABLE. At least, to me. Except for the last one; I was sad because she threw that innocent bystander(the garden gnome). Plus, the parts with Owen were always great. He’s just so funny, you’ve gotta love him. Well, that’s all for now, people!!!! Happy Reading😆👍😘❤️💜

Despite predicting the rest of the novel when I was only 20% in, I still thoroughly enjoyed it.

After a truly terrible Monday, Ellie makes a wish to do the day over and get things right. When her wish is granted, you get a Groundhog Day style story complete with the usual pattern, shock, attempting to change, all-out crazy, depression, and finally getting it right.
I thought this was a sweet, fun story. I thought Ellie and Owen were cute, and lots of little details made me chuckle. Sure, you can pretty easily figure out where the story is going from the first moment, but that doesn’t really matter. It’s the journey.

A solid 93%. So, this book was so addicting. I read it in essentially ONE sitting. It is so cute and even though I totally called the ending of the book when I was two chapters in, I had such a good reading experience that I had to give it this rating. If you're looking for a really light-hearted, sweet read, this is the one for you!

To be fair, I went into this one knowing it would be cheesy and not very good. It was pretty much a Hallmark movie in book form, which isn't always a bad thing. But in this case it just was such a cliche story that it stopped being ridiculous in a fun way and just became ridiculous.

I saw where this was going from the get go but you know what? I don't care. I enjoyed it anyway. The concept is fun and watching the stages of Ellie's growth as a character is quite something. She learns about herself and screws up a lot on the way but she does get out of the Monday cycle rather the better for it. Also that epic friendship with Owen...

Plotnya bukan sesuatu yang baru, tapi aku menikmati banget gaya nulisnya. Dibanding Before I fall, aku lebih pilih ini. Lebay dan drama banget sih si Ellie wkwkwk tapi ya memang gitu takdirnya. Btw, menurutku ini bisa dipadatkan jadi 300-an halaman aja.

I loved it! I liked how realistic and detailed the situations the characters experience are. Ellison has the worst Monday ever: breakup with her boyfriend, allergic reaction to almonds, and ruining her vice-president speech. She ends up making a wish to repeat Monday until she gets it right. One day, she doesn’t care and empties her bank account to spend it all. She got into a fight and mother off to the principal. Another day, she dressed nice. My favorite is when the guidance counselor gives her a different pamphlet. I love the ending and detailed characters and growth of them throughout the book!
