Not bad, I liked the plot but kinda predicted what would happen, so a bit anti-climactic.
Nicci's writing style is very simple, which (for some reason idk) made me like the book a little bit less.

The fifth instalment of the Frieda Klein series; I hated the way the story started out, but once it developed further I remembered why I liked the other ones. Let’s see how it continues!

I wouldn’t give it 4 stars all the way through, but this finished very strongly (apart from the mystery government man). Another excellent mystery.

Loved, loved, loved this. If you have been following Frieda Klein's story all the way from Blue Monday, you will not be disappointed with this latest instalment. Can't wait for Saturday......

*4.5 stars*
Daunting, Mysterious, Thrilling and Addictive

I think I would have given it 5 stars if I had read the books that came before this one. (This one is book 5 in the series) So the point-5 less star is not a fault of the book but my own. Even my taking so long to complete this book is a slip from my side.

Poor Frieda, her ex boyfriend has been murdered and she is the main suspect. The police have focused on her and aren’t looking at anyone else as a result, Frieda goes on the run and proceeds to try and find out who really killed Sandy. I was very happy that all of her friends were determined to help her even if it meant being arrested themselves. Love her or hate her, Frieda is a great character and this series is very good...

Read like I was watching a mini detective series. Easy and a great twist in the end. I like Nicci French as a writer and would recommend.

This is Frieda Klein novel 5.

You must read the books in order, they make no sense otherwise.
