2 stars read for me.
Again, I'm going against the current. To tell you the truth I expected more after seeing good reviews.
Blurb gives you enough info what's story about,so I'll only explain reason behind my rating in this review.
I really don't like teenage drama in my books. If you're confused now, don't be. This is adult mm romance. But adults in this story are not behaving very adult in their relationship. Behold the following scene:
Carter just told Isaac he loved him for the very first time. Isaac is surprised and doesn't say he loves him back, so Carter goes home. Over the next following days Carter doesn't want to talk with Isaac, he isn't picking up his phone. And you know why? Because he doesn't want to hear that Isaac doesn't feel the same way about him. Seriously there is exact same sentence. And they punish each other with silent treatment more later in novel. I was like that when I was fifteen. It's just not my cup of tea...

...for the story and the narration.
Not my favorite book by NR Walker. I didn't really like Isaac. Mainly because of his mood swings and his behavior towards Brady although I kinda get why he reacted the way he did. The writing also seemed a bit repetitive? Carter, though, was a saint and I liked him a lot.
The narration by Michael Pauley was, once again, for me at least, too aggressive (or overenthusiastic? I don't know how to describe it) during the sex scenes.

The stake is so slow that it is boring at times.

*SLIGHT SPOILERS AHEAD!*
This book had a lot of potential, but there were definitely a few things that really hit me wrong. I liked the idea of the story, I liked there being a blind LI, despite not usually loving dog books, I liked the dogs! I liked the overall story. What I didn’t like was that this was a short book and the couple had so many misunderstandings/flights/nearly breakups, it was just too much; it was more than in a standard length novel.
The other things that really put me off were that the MC’s best friend was bisexual and he was the typical, harmful stereotype of bisexuals basically wanting to fuck anyone and everyone. I don’t care if you write a side character who likes to have lots of sex with different people, but this felt too stereotype-y and it felt icky. The best friend was also, basically, an asshole, and made a lot of inappropriate blind jokes. Then, at one point, he pretended to be blind so that they could smuggle Isaac’s guide dog into the hospital (where Isaac (the LI) was). That’s not a thing that would need to be done, because guide dogs are allowed in hospitals. Then Mark (the best friend) was making jokes about how he was going to have to borrow the guide dog so that he could pick up guys/girls. Again, this felt icky. Like, you’re going to pretend to be blind just to get laid? Gross. There were also a few times that comments were made about Carter (the MC) being a bad gay because he doesn’t like hookups. This is again a harmful stereotype and I don’t understand why it would be included?
Also, perhaps NR Walker shouldn’t write sex scenes? The first one in this book was not good, and I don’t know if she just forgot to include certain (important!) details, but it didn’t come across as very realistic and kind of made Carter come across as not a very considerate lover.
I think I could have liked this book more if it weren’t for the best friend. He was just terrible. I don’t think I’ll be reading the rest of this series. There are some NR Walker books that I’ve really liked, but then some that have just been bad.

This book was a whole lotta fluff and not a lot of plot. I wish there'd been higher stakes closer to the middle of the plot not having to do with how moody Isaac is and how weirdly perfect Carter is. Carter being, quite literally, flawless was frankly a bit jarring. Also just how much he said Isaac's name. If someone said my name that much, I'd think they'd have a complex.
Otherwise, a really cute story. The plot itself was fairly unsophisticated and therefore very easy to follow, very easy to see the motivations of each character even when they weren't supposed to be that obvious. But, like, trope-wise, it was a feast.

DNF @ 47%. Matt was insufferable, Carter was condescending, ableist and mechanical (not to mention his impressively poor taste in friends). The writing was repetitive AF and stilted (especially the dialogue). Gay and bi stereotypes were AWFUL.
So far, I've not read anything by this author that I've liked or followed through till the bitter end.

Blind faith is a book about Issac a blind teacher who lost his parents and his eyesight in an automobile accident at 8 years old. He has a hard time with attachment because of losing his parents so young. His sister Hannah helps Issac out with some basic things but for the most part he is independent and able to do a lot for himself even though he is blind. Carter is hired to be the new vet and he meets Issac when he takes over the previous vets patients. Carter is intrigued by Issac and realizes how good looking Issac is even though he is blind. They develop a relationship with each other that is a bit tumultuous at best. Issac is moody and Carter needs space when he is angry. They do love each other but there is strain between them because Carter realizes that Issac is not taken to his new guide dog Brady. Issac is grieving the loss of his beloved Rosie his previous guide dog. Eventually Brady becomes the guide dog that Issac needs. It takes an incident for this to happen. Carter is frustrated by Issac behavior towards Brady. The story entertained me but the relationship issues was a bit repetitive to me.
