Again, I'm going against the current. To tell you the truth I expected more after seeing good reviews.
Blurb gives you enough info what's story about,so I'll only explain reason behind my rating in this review.
I really don't like teenage drama in my books. If you're confused now, don't be. This is adult mm romance. But adults in this story are not behaving very adult in their relationship. Behold the following scene:
Carter just told Isaac he loved him for the very first time. Isaac is surprised and doesn't say he loves him back, so Carter goes home. Over the next following days Carter doesn't want to talk with Isaac, he isn't picking up his phone. And you know why? Because he doesn't want to hear that Isaac doesn't feel the same way about him. Seriously there is exact same sentence. And they punish each other with silent treatment more later in novel. I was like that when I was fifteen. It's just not my cup of tea...
