This book suffers from one of my biggest pet peeves. The constant use of someone's name or a pet name. Every single one of Carter's sentences started with "Isaac, I-" or "Baby, we--" Multiple times within the same paragraph.

He. Knows. His. Own. Name. He. Ain't. Need. You. To. Tell. Him.

Also I got a very weird power vibe between them. Isaac came across incredibly immature and childish, to the point where I was concerned he might actually be a teenager and Carter should be in prison.

2 stars for the humans. An extra for the dogs.

Aww this book was so sweet and beautiful. Carter and Isaac were so well matched. This book had a slow burn and build up, they took their time but it was worth the wait. They were so hot together. Carter was so sweet to Isaac even when he acted like an a** I also loved Isaac's sister Hannah. How could I forget his guide dog Brady, he was such a sweetheart. I shouldn't be surprised that I enjoyed this book. I really enjoy N.R. Walker's books

A sweet story about a blind man learning to trust loving someone. Isaac was an interesting mix of both arrogance and vulnerability that was at times endearing but mostly annoying. Carter felt wishy-washy in not confronting Isaac on his treatment of Brady, among other things. If you're looking for a low angst book with a little humour and some charm, this will fit the bill. I just didn't feel totally invested in the characters.

his is another book that's been on my to read list for too long. I am happy I finally read it!
It is a lot of cuteness with some drama and it was almost perfect, if not for the sudden switches in Isaac's character. There were just parts where he was a bit out of character, or maybe the character was just very extensive and I just didn't got that.
Besides that I liked the plot and the feeling of being on a roller coaster with things going well and then bad and then well again.

(And I am not a dog person, but ahhhh it had cute doggies.)
