This was a very cute story about love and how hard it is to drop your guard. I found the added twist of sight and the struggle to also love a dog (because those left Isaac too) interesting and felt it really added to the story. It might have been a little too sappy and cute but I do like that better than all the sex stuff.

I enjoyed this one. Carter is a vet that is taking over for Dr. Fields who is retiring. He's intrigued by Issac at first. Issac is blind and has a rather difficult personality.
Issac was a little harder for me to like for a while. He really was very opinionated and wasn't friendly much. However, I also realize he has a lot from his past. And with his disability, I can see how he has his guard up with people.
Carter really is perfect for him. He's really caring. I loved how he continued to try and push Issac to just start enjoying life again.
Hannah and Mark were great side characters as well.

This was a lovely story. Isaac, who was blinded in an accident when he was a child, receives regular visits from the vet to check on his guide dog. Carter is new to town and takes over the vet practice, thus meeting Isaac.
Carter takes things slowly with Isaac. As well as being attracted, he admires the way Isaac handles himself and is so passionate about his job. Isaac, is very inexperienced and likes Carter very much. However he has abandonment issues which cause him to over-react in certain situations.
It was nice to see the story cover both Isaac's relationship with Carter, but also his relationship with his guide dog, Darcy.
Secondary characters were also interesting including Isaac's slightly interfering-with-the-best-intentions sister and Carter's funny bisexual best friend Mark.
I really enjoyed the way the story unfolded. There was a real sense of realism to Isaac's blindness and also some great humour.
"Can I introduce you as my boyfriend?" I smiled. "Of course you can." He grinned. "A lot of them don't know I'm gay," he went on to say. "So I want graphic details of facial expressions, please."
The story is sweet, the dogs are gorgeous and the ending is happy!

Blind Faith is the steamy mlm romance that tickled all my heartstrings, and some… other… parts as well! Set in Weymouth MA, our MC Carter works as a veterinary technician making home visits to his new clients. Enter Issaic and his seeing eye dog Brady. The budding romance between these two (humans!) is delightfully painful to watch. There isn’t a trope I love more than when one partner can’t get out of the way of their own ego in a relationship. Isaac may think his worst quality is his blindness, but could it be his defenses standing in the way? The disabled rep. is greatly portrayed in this queer romance, a gem for the romance genre as a whole. Excellent romance overall!!

Another thoroughly enjoyable novella from N.R. Walker. Solid writing. Unique premise. Good character development. Blind Faith was equal parts sweet, funny, touching, infuriating, and pleasantly surprising. By the end, I wanted to snuggle Brady, throttle Isaac, and bestow sainthood on Carter. I'm looking forward to reading the next in the series, [b:Through These Eyes|17564011|Through These Eyes (Blind Faith, #2)|N.R.
