This is an Agatha Christie type book where the author is o e of the main characters. A classic who done it with a bit of a twist.

Classic anthony horowitz that’s tense and constantly changing direction leaving you unsure of who is to blame. The story is strong and allows for thought beyond the pages however the ending lacked the care that it normally does

I had a fun time reading this, but it's not very memorable I'm afraid.
It's still a good book, but for me the series deteriorates with every book. I hope #5 gets better.

Twisty, smart, and (written in the nicest and positive way) mindless.

Anthony Horowitz is a master of the murder mystery genre. Can’t wait for his next installment of “Hawthorne Investigates”.

An author/playwright becomes the prime suspect in a murder after his newest play gets a scathing review from a powerful ??critic. Not my favorite book in the series, but still a fun cozy mystery! Never a shortage of suspects and motives, and just the right amount of humor.
