What a great fast paced book! I don't know how Jessica Sorensen does it time and time again but her characters just grab you from the start and don't let go. They leave you begging for more and then of course she leaves you high and dry with a cliff hanger. Very Sneaky ;)

This book is a continuation of the Callie and Kayden series but focuses on their friends/ roommates, Luke and Violet. The snippets we have of Luke in the previous books showed him as a mysterious loner bad boy, yet great friend to Kayden. Here we find out about his messed up upbringing and how damaged he is. Violet, I think we have heard slightly less about, except for her being an aloof and kind of bitchy roommate to Callie. In this book, we see why she is such a bitch and she has an equally messed up, albeit totally different background than Luke.

Can two completely and seemingly irrevocably damaged be a couple without their pasts getting in the way? Its worth the read to find out. Can't wait for the next one. In May!!!! :(

I love this series soo much but i am always apprehensive about books in a series that don't feature the main characters i have already got to know so well. I don't know why because i always love them, and this was no exception!

Luke and Violet are such quiet and intense people in Callie & Kaden's stories that it was nice to get a chance to know them, although i wasn't too happy at the cliff hanger ending, I'm going to have to go find the next one pretty sharpish.

Jessica Sorensen is one of my go to authors and i have yet to find a book by her that i haven't liked. I'm just kicking myself it took me soo long to read this one.

This is probably my favorite book so far in the "The Coincidence" series.

I think you can read the Violet and Luke books without previously have read the Callie and Kayden if you know the main points of relation between the characters.

And what a coincidence indeed.

I can understand Violet and Luke much better than I ever did with Callie and Kayden.

Well, Violet was a witness of her parents murder and after that she was in foster care. Luke lived with his drug addict mother who made him help her with her addiction.

And now a few of the coincidences:

-They officially met while Violet jump of a window to get away from some guys how chase her like Luke's sister who commit suicide.

-Their nightmares is caused from the same woman. And there is the big spoiler..
Spoiler at the end of the book Luke and Violet think that his mother is one of the murders who killed Violet's parents

I can't wait for the next The "something" of Violet and Luke.

Perhaps some day I can rate this book, I just can't do it yet. It's been almost a week and I still have such mixed emotions. This was the story of Violet and Luke, complicated friends of Callie and Kayden. Until now, we never knew they shared a relationship. The book was told from dual POVs and from the first pages I was sucked into the turmoil of Luke's and Violet's past. While I do not mind sadness and tragedy in a book, this story was almost too much for me to endure. These two faced such horrible childhood events. They were still facing horrid life events, especially Violet. While they did find some happiness in each other, there was always a depressing undertone. Of course, there was a huge twist that appears to have destroyed in chance of a relationship between these two shattered souls.

As with all Jessica books, there was a humongous CH. The kind that makes you want to throw your kindle and swear to never read her books again! Yes, it is that bad. However, like always, I will be waiting at midnight to start reading the next book of Violet and Luke. Jessica Sorenson is my addiction!

Happiness isn't real. It's make-believe.

Even though the odds are in my favor, doesn't mean they'll end up that way. First rule of cards. And of life.

Wauw. That ending. Okay, i saw it coming from miles away, but it still got me. The last pages were an emotional trainwreck for me!

4.5 Stars

I will be honest and say this book was a little predictable, however, I completely loved it. Violet and Luke's relationship was like nothing else I have ever read in a book and that made them all that much more likeable. Violet was strong, snarky but also flawed and I honestly loved that Luke is friends with Seth and Greyson and doesn't feel awkward about it all.

Such a perfect read, especially as I was in a reading slump. No onto the rest of the series!

Amazing, wow! Loved Luke and Violet, they were just perfect for each other and wow, what a ending!
5 stars!♥

I love the intense roller coaster ride you go through with Violet and Luke. Violet and Luke's story is raw and powerful and Jessica Sorensen knows how to write a haunting love story you can't get enough of . In this book you get to understand why Luke carry's so much pain with him. You get to learn how he dealt with his life. You get to see how Luke grows and breaks down in the book. I really liked getting to know Violet and her craziness. She doesn't take any crap from anyone. But the brave will fall sometimes, I say this because of the ending of the book. These characters are probably my favorite out of the series because I felt like I went through every emotion with them. First trust, dropping your pride, Love, and heartbreak. This story still stays will even after days from reading it. I was a wreck when I read the last line....I was like no this can't be the end and my heart broke with Violet. I would recommend to friends and family...and everyone for a gut-gut-wrenching love story!!!

I really need to know what Violet is gonna do, I hated it how it ended, they're so screwed up in the head, but with so much potential to love each other
