Trying to work through some of my quicker reads to clear out my library queue now that the baby is here. More action oriented than the first, but the story and with felt a little weak because of that.

I need the third book now. I need to know what happens!

yeah these slap!! really kicking myself for not getting to them earlier but I'm excited for the rest of the series!

This was good! Love the action sequences. They flow so well. And the color palette is gorgeous. I'm glad I decided to pick this up in my spare time. Really enjoying so far :D

This is a fun series and this is a fun addition. This is for fans of the first one!!

Book 2 in the Cleopatra in Space graphic novel series, and a bit of a let down. It feels like they slowed the plot down even further. Also, it might be a trap, it feels like they are super telegraphing the identity of the big bad guy. I mean, this book was written for a younger audience, but still. I'll keep reading them, but I'm less excited now.

After reading book one, did I proceed to head to the library to get the next book? Yes. Yes, I did. I read this the same day as book one.

This one was better than the first, which definitely wasn’t bad. I loved how the thief (whose name escapes me) was actually a CHARACTER, another just a random henchman.

It was good.

Cleopatra is back in action at Yasiro Academy as a thief enters the school to steal the artifact that Cleo has only just brought back on her last mission. Cleo tries to pursue the thief but is stopped by the teachers at school. She tries to prove her worth in this latest installment of the series by improving her skills and learning more about the prophecy she is meant to fulfill.

The series has continued on in great form, with continued fantastic art and a good plot. I am really happy to have read the next book and am anticipating more awesome installments in the future.

This book focuses less on action and more on the developments of Cleo's character and the prophecy that would be needed to move into the next book. We see Cleo having to face her weaknesses, become closer with her friends, and prove her worth.

The art and characters are as wonderful as they were in the previous book. I can't really comment much without being repetitive in this case. I think it's a solid sequel which continues on with some great action, art, and characters!
