This book changed my life. It really gave life a new perspective and also made me reflect on all the possibilities of life up to now and all the future possibilities to come

It’s not great literature, but it’s a worthy story of encouragement for anyone regretting a road not taken. The premise is a bit weak in places IMO but for readers willing to play along there are many truths that are good to be reminded of. There are some unfortunate clichés here  and there that led to me lopping off points, but they did not lead to me bailing out.

This book really disappointed me. It felt very repetitive and boring ans the message was very plain. Nora was a flat character and there were many story beats that felt half baked and unfinished. For a book with such a simple framework it felt droning & long. There could have been more time spent on building the characters and the world and reflecting on Nora's relationships and feelings. I found this book leaving me wanting a lot more.

A beautiful slowburn book about life. Life’s too short to hang onto your regrets. Don’t think about the what-could-have-beens but about the what-will-I-make-from-this. A nice life lesson. I would recommend this book although it is sometimes a bit repetitive with the feelings and going back to the library in a loop and the ending was predictable but necessary.

It’s not what you look at that matters, it’s what you see.

Never underestimate the big importance of small things, you must always remember that.

Finished this beautiful book in 3 days!!! It was a little hard to get into (as always with me and books) but oh my GOD did this book change me.

This book has been on my TBR for three years but I didnt get the book until last christmas, and I truly believe that is for a reason. This book will find you when it needs to.

The further I got into the book, the further I morphed into Nora. Nora’s lessons in the midnight library became mine, her feelings: mine, her relationships: mine, her dreams and wishes: mine. This connection with a character was what I expected from a book like “The invisible life of Addie LaRue” but didn’t feel.

All in all I find myself wishing I could read this book for the first time again. And then again and again and again.
