Kraj mi je bio previše predvidljiv i nekako isforsiran. OK knjiga, ništa posebno.
By far her best! Being a survivor of domestic violence, I sometimes felt like she was writing about my life. If she's never been a victim, she certainly nailed the breath holding experiences one goes through as they try to break free and live life looking behind their backs.
Had it not been years since my abuse was laid to rest, I wouldn't have been able to make it through this read.
As terrifying as domestic violence is, I thank her for bringing this topic to light.

This was a decent almost 5 star for me until the end. It was so obvious and cliched when there was a much better antagonist in the story, one that really could’ve pulled off shock and awe. And the ending is really written like we’re suddenly supposed to feel bad for Andrew and just forgive him for everything? He was still a creep after he got out. He still stalked his ex and kid and still talked about them like he owned them and they owed him everything. And also everything with Jared just going nowhere. The ending is too light and fluffy to assume it’s supposed to be a dark ending where clearly Sophie is dating a man like her father. And if we’re not supposed to think that, then why write him as a creepy possessive kid who it sounds like drugs and rapes girls!? Jared being the bad guy would’ve been a way better ending. The ending of this book just pissed me off.

Addictive read! I love Chevy's books and this is one of her best!
Really good. Reminiscent of Rachel Caine’s duology Killman Creek, but more believable. Throws you off the scent multiple times so that I didn’t guess the ending for a while. I love that!

Do you want to read a book that makes you question the motives of every male character constantly?
How about a book that gives you anxiety on behalf of the characters that causes you to stay up into the wee hours of the night trying to reach a scrap a peace?
This might be for you if you thrive off books like Gone Girl or The Girl on the Train!
Last year I read Behind Closed Doors and absolutely devoured it. This was very similar almost to the point of being a slightly watered down version of Behind Closed Doors (that reads like an insult but I really mean it as a compliment). I really enjoyed that book and Never Let You Go went very hand-in-hand when it comes to fictionalized abuse and the turmoil such situations bring.
The writing style/perspective changes were occasionally off-putting or cliche and there were a few continuity errors such as using the wrong character’s name once and having dinner twice in one day. Overall, I really enjoyed this quick read.

This book was just like any other Chevy Stevens book, it was captivating and thrilling. Toward the end you piece it together but please read to the last chapter.
