This was a decent almost 5 star for me until the end. It was so obvious and cliched when there was a much better antagonist in the story, one that really could’ve pulled off shock and awe. And the ending is really written like we’re suddenly supposed to

feel bad for Andrew and just forgive him for everything? He was still a creep after he got out. He still stalked his ex and kid and still talked about them like he owned them and they owed him everything. And also everything with Jared just going nowhere. The ending is too light and fluffy to assume it’s supposed to be a dark ending where clearly Sophie is dating a man like her father. And if we’re not supposed to think that, then why write him as a creepy possessive kid who it sounds like drugs and rapes girls!? Jared being the bad guy would’ve been a way better ending.

The ending of this book just pissed me off.
