I am falling in love with this family, each brother's story just makes me fall harder.

This is Mills and Hadley's story. This is a fast paced story that made me beg for more when it was over! I enjoyed the humor, the heat and the heart of this story and I am sure you are going to love it too!

I so love how this family, even in its dysfunctionality, embraces each new member with a whole heartedness that makes me just swoon. I love the family dynamics, and how each story it evolves more and more.

Mills and Hadley's chemistry is off the charts sweet and spicy. The hero's in Ms. Burgoa's stories are always dedicated to the women in their lives.

I can't wait to see Vance's story, I can't wait to see the mysteries of their father revealed and when are we going to see the letters!! Gaaaahhh! The letters!

A delightful Hockey Single-dad “Friends/Nanny-to-Lovers” Small-Town Billionaire Romance with Healing, Late night talks, Amusing Aldridges, Cute babies, Low Angst, Q/A, Being Family, Love & HEA.
Mills & his son Arden deserve all the love & Hadley's perfect for them❤. I loved seeing them together. I've been waiting for Mills' book & it was fun! Shorter than the previous ones, but still so worth it! I just want more of this family #SorryNotSorry, Can't believe there's only one brother-Vance's book left! DEVOURED this in around 4hrs.

I noticed that each book (Here from the Hero's PoV) gives us some intro info, so this is from Mills:
"I live with an arrogant CEO, Henry. A bloodsucking lawyer, who happens to be made out of shit and other stinking garbage, Pierce. A heartthrob musician who, up until he almost died, was an undercover agent for a high intelligence security company, Beacon. A former Ranger, Delta force, or who-the-fuck-knows-what-he-was-because-he-won’t-tell-us. That’ll be my brother Vance who, in addition to bringing us his drama, brought his mercenary friends close enough that they almost killed the entire family. Last but not least, there’s Hayes, who happens to be the doctor and the most grounded of all of us. I think. Listen, I love my brothers, but I’d give anything to have a peaceful, average life. Is that too much to ask?"
So much drama happened in the previous books, eh?

As We Are is the 5th book in the Baker’s Creek Billionaire Brothers series, and it is the story of Hockey Star and single dad, Mills Aldridge, and Hadley Heywood, former Baker’s Creek resident and down on her luck Social Media Director.

This one gives us a glimpse into life inside the Aldridge Mansion as the brothers continue to spend time together and learn to navigate life with multiple children under the age of 5!

So, I love Mills. Like, love him. Not as much as I love Beacon, but still. I didn't expect him to be so sweet and openly loving. Based on his interactions in the previous books, I thought he was standoffish and a bit anti-love and family - with the exception of Beacon and Arden.

But beneath that frozen exterior is a man who craves love and stability. And I am so here for it.

And while it took me a little while to warm up to Hadley, she is exactly what Mills and Arden need.

I am anxiously awaiting book 6 because I can't wait to see Vance brought to his knees by the doctor and by love...and to hopefully learn why William went to these lengths to bring his sons together again.

Another must read from this fabulous author!

As We Are is the fifth book in The Baker’s Creek Billionaire Brothers series, but it can be read as a standalone.

Mills Aldridge was a professional hockey player, but an injury caused him to take a step back. Now he’s back in Baker’s Creek, raising his son, and trying to solve the mystery his father left behind with his brothers.

Hadley Heywood left Baker’s Creek, but after her ex cheated, she made rash decisions, quit her job, and returned to the small town. Now she needs to help her mom with the bakery and get a job. So, she ends up nannying for Mills.

Mills never wanted to get attached to a woman, especially because of Arden, his son. But it was love at first sight…for Arden. His instant attachment to Hadley was just so adorable. And I loved how Hadley was so sweet and kind to him. Also, Hadley and Mills really got to know each other, and they helped each other heal.

This was another great story in the Baker’s Creek Billionaire Brothers series. The brothers are uncovering more and more about their father’s past, and I’m excited to find out what their father’s story really is.

Audio:
Narrators: Stella Hunter and Jason Clarke
Style: Dual

It’s no surprise that the narrators did an excellent job on this story. Stella Hunter and Jason Clarke just nailed their performances, and their “kid voice” was great!

I’m really sad that this book is shorter than previous
In reality, I want like million pages of Mills and Hadley story
I’m in love with Arden and how that three become so amazing family
But still it was kind of fast..

I enjoyed this special tale of a nanny & the single dad. It didn't follow the usual layour that you find in a single dad nanny story. I mean he practically falls for her before she becomes the nanny. It was beautifullytold. The narrators do a great job at telling this tale of the highs and lows of their relationship.

Who is Hadley? How does she end up back in Baker's Creek? Why and when did she leave? Oh, we get to read more about Mills in this story!!!! What does Hadley do for a living? Who is Randall? What do we learn? Oh, I do not like that man!!! I love Hadley's revenge, however. Sophia was funny when they talked about Randall. What happens one Sunday morning when Mills and Arden go to the bakery? What do we learn the ladies and the men bet on? Who is Christopher? What do we learn about Jerome Parrish? What assinine thing does Mills do that wrecks everyone? What does he do to make it right? Read and see what happens! I cannot wait for the next book in the series!

4.5 Sweet & Steamy Stars!
I can not get enough of these sexy Aldridge brothers and The Baker's Creek Billionaire Brothers series! Mills Aldridge is at a crossroads after an injury playing professional hockey. He is a single dad recovering while trying to make a stable loving home for him and his adorable little boy, Arden, but he still feels like an outsider living in Baker's Creek with his brothers. Hadley Heywood grew up in Baker's Creek and couldn't get away fast enough after being bullied while growing up. Now after a shocking event has returned home the one place she never wanted to be again. She and Mills meet one night in the park when they are looking for an escape from the town gossips. They are attracted to each other from the start, not only because they are both statistic nerds, but also because they don't know how they fit it with their families and the town. Hadley is in desperate need of help with finances and the Aldridge family needs a nanny, so they make an arrangement that helps them all. Hadley adores little Arden and they bond instantly which makes Mills fall for her even more. They try to keep everything professional but can't help acting on their attraction. They both dream of making a family together but with both their lives in Bakers Creek temporary, will they find the courage to ask the other to choose them first? This is such a sweet, funny, and heartfelt story. I love the bond these bothers are forming, making them all learn to open themselves up to love, and their sibling banter is more hilarious the more I get to know them! I also love the comradery of all the women and how they support each other, and find laughter when the men make mistakes. I am still so intrigued and invested in finding out more about their father, and why he had them all move to Baker's Creek. This is such a great series, and Mills and Hadley's story was another fun, emotional and steamy romance that captured my heart and made me completely happy!
