This book was not at all what I expect in a good way. I loved the different twist it took. Can't wait to read the next book to find out what happens to all of the characters this book introduces.

I live a strong FMC and even with her doubts and worries Kaida continues to be just that!! I really loved the relationship she fostered with the other women and Enzo and Beckett were perfectly sweet (well until one of them rejected her)!
I’m already ready for book two. I want Blaze to eat his words and Esan to step up!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and the author!

The writing style was really not for me. It felt stilted and gave me the impression it was translated from another language. Perhaps a bunch more editing is needed.

I love this book. Kaida was rejected by her mate and sent to reject island. I loved the relationship she has with the other women on the island. I can’t wait for the rest of the series.

Mostly skimmed the first 40%.. the rest was very predictable. Don’t waste your money. 2,5 star ⭐️

Reading this book made me feel like my brain was rioting inside my skull in an attempt to escape the unusual punishment I was inflicting on it.
It also made me feel bad for the author—she paid someone to edit her work, and still that was what she put out? Girl got scammed.
Upfront, I'm giving it two stars only because I'm a simp for RH with a nice dash of enemies to lovers and in an utopic world the premise Dragon Rejected is based on could have spawned an amazing book. But realistically, this was a one star read with writing so poor it felt like I was reading something penned by a teenage girl who'd just recently discovered the world of fantasy tropes.
I'll have a more thorough review on my blog in case you're interested. Link in the banner above.

I'm sorry. But this is very, VERY juvenile. It's boring, slow, the main characters are boring, and insta-lust is prevalent. Also, calling your potential mate a "dumb bitch" is not the attitude I want in an RH.
Nope! Next!

I flipped to the back of the book shortly after starting to read Dragon Rejected, then kept flipping ahead as I continued reading it. I wanted to see how much longer before she got her dragon, or when she'd get rejected, etc etc.
It was a LITTLE slow going for the first half, but I understand it was laying out the groundwork.
<Spoiler>
Kaida didn't get her dragon when she turned eighteen like most people do. After a month and still no sign of it, she was getting pretty depressed. Her parents bring word that the prince wants to meet her and the other four daughters of the main families to possibly pick out his future queen. It ends up they're fated mates, but she has to keep that she's dragonless a secret. He seems like he'd accept her no matter what, so she's confident this will be fine. His parents seemed against her from the start, however, and when it's finally confirmed she has no dragon, she's sent to the Outlands.
Here, she meets some wonderful friends, but also meets four elemental dragon princes, one in particular who's on a power trip. They want to take over the throne where she came from and want her help to do it. In return, they'll help her unlock her dragon.
I'm curious to see how the hot-headed dragon of the four in particular can get his head out of his rear and get over himself!
