loved it

Ok this one for sure made me shed some tears . So this is the continuation of Lex and Charlies’s story . Just when we thought those two were set for their happily ever after everything changes. There are something I didn’t like in the book but I could look past them because the story line was so good. I look forward to reading more about these characters.

OMG, all the feels in this book. My heart broke over and over again. Kat T. Masen made me ugly cry. Chasing Us is so well written and you can't help but to connect with each character on some level. Eric makes you laugh, he's def a fun character but Lex and Charlie are def my faves. They have overcomed so much and it just seems like they can't catch a break. Kat's words are dark and twisted, but you can't help but to crave more. I really can't wait to see where these characters go in the next book. Kat's books are new to me and def a new fave author that I can't seem to get enough of. Job well done!

Dragged on a bit, and the way Lex handles situations made me a bit angry but a good story nonetheless

*scratches head in disbelief*

This whole series was INSANE. I looked beyond the constant cheating between these two MCs because I honestly thought this couple had something special. Hahaha, what a joke.
Lex is the devil, a true menace. Charlie sucked too, but then she was violated by her own husband, so there's that... (sad) and then guess what?! The cheater cheated again. Should have killed him off and not Elijah, if I'm being honest.

Final thoughts: this series went off the rails...

And I.AM.EXHAUSTED.

There is absolutely no character development, no plot and honestely only a lot of toxic sh*t. Lex is an immature manchild and Charlie is weak. He is so bad for her and all she keeps doing is running back to him, the second he says sorry.

Okay so much redemption! However… the forcing of a love triangle really ticked me off because even from first book it didn’t sit right to introduce another romantic character but I’m glad that beau and Alexa were able to get back to being friends,
I enjoy the different point of view aspects with like from Charlie and lex so you don’t just have a single point of view but sometimes the storyline overlapped and it made me go “ oh right! Yes that happened”
It was good to get a clean tidy here,
The bit that doesn’t make sense though is the April sections in 1&2 they were best friends and the book is saying Alexa just stopped talking to her and April never reached out? Finding it extremely hard to believe

But overall I enjoyed it I had some laughs and some “ oh Eric “ moments
