So long. The first book could've ended with HEA with soem good editing and a few extra chapters. There are repetitive scenes from different POVs, a lot of back tracking, and random chapters from side characters POVs. Didn't keep me invested after the main couple got together at the 40% mark. Kept reading for another few chapters but can't stick it out.

This book should have ended on page 185. The rest of the book is just needless drama and Lex being the BIGGEST asshole ever. Idk why there are Nikki and Eric POVs at all, that was just weird. Over all not impressed with this book. Honestly the first book should have finished out the story it never should have been 2 books.

I couldn’t wait for this to end. I had to finish reading but I did consider DNF a few times. I skimmed through a lot of it. There were some okay parts. There was more drama and emotion in this book but I really do not like Lex. The way he treated Charlie was so stupid. I know grief makes people act in strange ways but he was an asshole for no reason. There was way too much sex in this one it became repetitive and boring. I didn’t feel connected to the characters. Eric is still really annoying. I’m glad this book has come to an end and I won’t be continuing this series. The only reason I gave it 2.5 was for the drama that made it tolerable. Also getting the full story on why Charlie was so hesitant about trusting lex again pulled the story together.

I really enjoyed this duet, however… we could’ve gone without the whole Montana scene. It just adds to the whole once a cheater always a cheater and I assumed their story was above that.. oh and you know the SA.

Otherwise it’s a great book! definitely had me in tears and 10/10 would read it again!

Long winded. Felt like the story was just dragging on and on and on. I was bored.

just bawled my eyes out for 20 minutes at that ending so just for that it’s getting a 3.5 instead of a 4
