Gooooood. This was one of the moat infuriating books ever.
Finished the first one already frustrated, decided to give the second one a chance but seriously, who allowed to 5 y/o to escape kindergarten and pretend to be two adults.
Fuck, I’m a sucker for second chance and love but I literally could not finish this book because it was terribly infuriating and frustrating.

What an emotional roller coaster! I was angry, laughing until my sides hurt, crying, angry again but man oh man was this part 2 a ride!

Lex and Charlie will test your patience but I think it is important to remember what happened in the first book from their past and how they altered themselves to cope because I feel that is really where it stems from.

Rocky and Eric OMG every time one of them was on the page you could not help but laugh they are both unfiltered in the best and completely different ways. Side splitting laughs with these two!

Elijah broke home his chapter had me crying my heart was hearting so bad.

When Lex pushes Charlie away I wanted to punch him, but then I remembered who he became in the aftermath of 9 years ago and we see him falling back into that man who doesn’t let anyone in. Everyone deals with grief in different ways and while I understand him not wanting to lose her it was dumb.

I loved this story from the first book to this one but you really need an open mind and think of past and present situations to understand their mindset so you don’t throw your reading material

I love the character growth in this book and how the main focus is now on the development. I’ve decided to stop reading this series after this book as it’s not for me. The constant back and forth between them seemed dragged on but that is my own personal opinion. However this was a really good ending to Alex and Charlie’s story. As much as I’d love to continue on to read Adrianna’s story I think another time would be better.

I really wanted to see the rest of this story!! I am totally team Julian, but even reading could feel the electricity between lex and Charlie!

Spoiler/trigger-

This book got super rapey for me. There is nothing consensual about doing things to partner who is completely unconscious. This and the car scene kinda spoiled this whole story for me. Marriage or not, kinky or not, the fact that this was just a part of the story and never called what it was bothers me

No thank you…

This is where it ends for me, I have no interest in reading anymore. Do yourself a favour and don’t bother with book 1 or 2!

This could have been one book. The first and second book did not need to be two. I like two povs but the retelling of the same scene and nothing new happening feel redundant. There were so much extra fluff out in that had nothing to do with the storyline and didn’t add to it at all. If the first book didn’t end with to be continued I wouldn’t have read this.
