3.6/5 - at least we got some more plot here but same issues as first book

Bro, the last 40% of this book was just them about to get a divorce but never going through with it. They literally should both go to lord and lots of therapy

I just wanted to keep shouting at the both of them. Slap them both upside the head and tell them to just Stop and Talk.

I was irritated with Charlie through most of their story. I felt at times that she was a bit much when it came to finding things out about Lex’s past. Instead of giving him the benefit of the doubt, she ran and intentionally tried to hurt Lex, which resulted in his spiraling.

I really enjoyed their story overall and was always rooting for them to be together in the end. They both have been through some crazy trauma but I definitely feel like they make each other better (when they are communicating) and boy was their sex life on point haha.

DNF on chapter 1

To be honest.. the first couple hundred pages to me seemed to good to be true but the rest had me on an emotional roller coaster.

I ugly cried at 2 am to a certain chapter and then got frustrated with the turn of events. The ending was great and over all the book was amazing.

All of this could’ve been done a lot better and in just one book. Don’t waste you’re time
