What the hell was that? This book needs Spoiler warnings.
I will tell you this review has spoilers.
1. He SAs his wife
2. He cheats on his wife
He took advantage of his wife while she was unconscious are you kidding me? How did we just gloss right over that. Not okay.
His dalliance with Montana just forgiven? I mean he has a clear pattern of behavior. He cheated on his first wife, enter into an affair with Charlie 2x(while he was married and while she was engaged) then his incident with Montana. Charlie girl that is a pattern--it will happen again.
Lex's actions are not forgivable. Why did we also make it seem like she had an emotional affair with Julian it was about 20 minutes of chatting and a dancing at a gala.? She did not let some slut stroke her cock or touch her clit. Not on the same par.
This book is just in poor taste.
Not to mention that the bulk of the book had no plot.
Edit: It is a day later. I am still very angry.

Wow! This book had my jaw dropping constantly with all of the twists and turns. I was definitely not expecting how the book went. I thought it was very good and I enjoyed reading it.

Chasing a feeling
Chasing Us is book 2 of the Dark Love series and while I appreciate the writing, I'm still on edge about this story. I think my issue is that the characters are so set in their destructive ways that I bo longer feel their chemistry. They push/pull and destroy their lives and what's left!?
I wanted a happy ending and technically I got one but it doesn't feel that way. Chasing Us leaves you waiting for the other shoe to drop. Masen spends the whole book knocking our legs out from under us so the one time she doesn't...I don't trust it. (I know trust is their #1 issue!)
So did I love this book...no. Did I enjoy it...sort of!? Yes, but I am not sold on their ever after. Masen left me wondering how Charlie or Lex could be sold on it either.
Well written and compelling (even if it's because you know the crash and burn is coming), Masen has quite a story to tell. I'm just not sure I trust it.

I barely made it through this. It was so ridiculous. I will not continue this series. Even though I wanna know what happens to the characters. It was so frustrating the back and forth. Both books were unnecessarily long. I really wanted to like it cause I like the general idea of the story but too much miscommunication.
