After the first few in the series I started skipping around and read what I could find so I ended up reading 'Fantasy' before this one and was actually for the first time disappointed with it. This one in terms of tech was better by leaps and bounds. I loved this book especially with Mcnab and peabody. The means of murder was fascinating and kept my interest with following investigation. Even better was that I found myself laughing several times as well as getting real into the investigation and understanding of how Eve saw things and was as frustrated as her. This book has definately become one of my favorites.

I love every book in the IN DEATH series for the wonderful police procedural writing, the tight pacing, and most of all the characters. Roarke, Eve, Peabody, McNabb, Sommerset and all the others make every book an absolute treat to read. In PURITY IN DEATH, Eve is tracking a killer who can use a computer program to kill their victims, causing them to go mad, bleed from the eyes, and go on a murderous rampage. I particularly liked the scenes with Roarke, Feeney and Feeney’s grandson in this one. A fun book. 5/5 stars.

This is another 4.5 stars for me. This one had me more tearful than the others so far. I haven't had enough of these books and I dont see me stopping any time soon.

Eve, Roarke and the usual gang. Enjoyable read as always. I love listening to this series on my iPod. Eve has to figure out how these undesirable members of the community are being killed by a computer virus. I always love how she gets into the "bad guys" head and be able to figure out how things happened.

I love the blurb => "her astonishingly handsome husband, Roarke"

Heh, words not enough to describe (my one and true love) Roarke.
Poor McNab here, and Eve have a serious discussion with Roarke about murderer and rapist.

Undoubtedly one of my favorites. So many developments with the characters and relationships. Love how brilliant Eve is and how dedicated she is to what's right. Several moments that make you stress and worry. I'm not sure when I'll be able to put this series down. And I already know I'm going to reread, already itching too but want to move forward first!
