Undoubtedly one of my favorites. So many developments with the characters and relationships. Love how brilliant Eve is and how dedicated she is to what's right. Several moments that make you stress and worry. I'm not sure when I'll be able to put this series down. And I already know I'm going to reread, already itching too but want to move forward first!

I have been meaning to shelf this for a whole day. Anyways, it's just as I remember it; gun-slinging Eve and her perfect husband who gradually becomes more intolerable.
Why would a grieving mother talk about how hot Roarke is in HER SON'S FUNERAL?!
I liked the McNab/Peabody storyline. The side characters are good as always. The plot was clever and had me hooked, I hope it is brought up in the following books.

This book had a lot of shocking moments in it, and everyone is involved in this case. Eve and her team will find out the truth and bring it to light on what is behind everything. I loved every bit of this book and can’t wait to dive into the next book.
Standalone or Part of Series: It’s part of the In Death series by J.D. Robb.
Would I recommend this book? Yes, most definitely. This is one of my favorites in the series. (I have several.) I would recommend this book/series to Romantic Suspense/Thrillers readers out there.

Whoa. Finally one where Roarke isn't implicated. I can't believe it! Also one where Eve doesn't have nonstop nightmares!
