Sometimes I love a good fairytale. E.D. Baker is my go-to author when I'm in that mood. These books always cute and fun to read, and I appreciate knowing that I can share thenm with young readers too.

Honestly I felt like this book needed an actual plot to justify it being more than 20 pages. I couldn’t tell you what really happened in the middle. It’s missing the magic of the Frog Princess, especially since Audun falls in love with Millie at first sight. Eadric and Emma got to know each other and while he was definitely interested in her, he got to know her by the end of the book. We don’t even meet Audun until the last third of the book and he basically knows nothing about Millie. Maybe this is resolved through the other books. I think the first 2/3 could have been shortened significantly and maybe the last third should’ve been given more time to breathe/develop.

The girls and I enjoyed this. Such a fun series, and Milly is such an interesting character.

Another great fairy tale. Plenty of adventure and creative fantasy elements.

Cute. A lot of cameos from the first 5 books, or at least I assume that's what they are. The princess goes on an adventure, but she's a dragon so she's never in danger. The story's about running into random people and not letting her friends die of cold and then getting Wizard-of-Oz'd (film) in the penultimate chapter "you've always had the ability..."

Book six in the Frog Princess series.
Emma and Eadric have a daughter with a bad temper. Not too surprising, except that Millie turns into a dragon every time she loses her temper. After a disastrous birthday party, Millie sets off on a quest to find a witch who may be able to help her. Unfortunately, the road to the Blue Witch is not an easy one, and Millie and her companions may end up lost in the icy north forever.
Funny.

The Dragon Princess by E.D. Baker – Well the third generation of this family still has a penchant for trouble! Happy Reading!
