LOVE a shape-shifting dragon princess. Second generation stories can be hit-or-miss but this one is always beloved to me.

I really enjoyed this story! It pulled me in from beginning to end and I loved getting to see the next generation with Millie, her cousin and friend all end up on their own adventure. We get to see Millie right about when she is the same age as Emma was when the series started. She is having princes starting to court her but she has a unique issue, her magic has shown itself with her turning into a dragon when she is angry. She has not learned to control the change and she spells and magic don't work for her the right away. I enjoyed watching Millie come into herself and figure things out as she goes on a journey to find the Blue Witch in order to find a way to gain control of her temper and shifting. I really enjoyed getting to know these characters throughout the story and seeing Millie meet Aldoon and saving his family. I'm excited for where things are going to in the next book.

This was a cute kids audiobook we enjoyed. We unfortunately didn't finish it the first time was had it checked out and as a result, we had to wait a month to get it back again. It's perfect for my kids ages 6 and 8 and while I found out later that it is part of a whole series of books and this is many books into the series, I felt like it was a stand alone story. A girl, who can turn into a dragon, set out on a quest to figure out to control her shifting between human and dragon. Her cousin and friend come along on the journey. It was a great book full of some fun adventures.

Super cute! I liked that they utilized characters from the first generation, but didn't rely on them too much and spent time developing the new characters. Millie and Audun are cute, and I liked the main theme.

Baker's done it again. I really enjoyed this book even though it wasn't as good as the first 4 books :)

One of my biggest criticisms of this series is the characters didn't seem to learn anything. They kept having the same fights over and over. Since this book has all new characters, concentrating on the kids of previous characters, it's hard to know if that's gotten better or not. I do like the new characters so far and the change of pace is nice.
