I like it, but I really hope that this series isn't like And There Were None by Agatha Christie. It's really bad if in the end of each book we lose a main character. There were eight, now there is five. Do the math.

Didnt like this one nearly as much as the first(mainly because of the weird sex scenes w E and Leeā€¦ a man trying ot write about a teenage girls sex life definitely fell flat at best for me) but also war is so brutal. Is it bad I was glad chris died? They are soooo screwed if hell gets found out aint no way. Im assuming they all die besides E because jesus they are dropping like flies. Also- wouldnt corrie and kev be heavily interrogated/tortured? Or did this supposed army buy the whole fake hideout in town thing? I dunno. Excited for the third one though

Some people have said that the odd numbers in this series are better than the even numbers. I don't think that way. I've been taking them at face value and reading and enjoying them as I go. (I'm part way through #3)

This time around they're seasoned and ready to make a difference. Things don't seem to be going their way in regards to the war and yet they're still fighting on.

I found their growth to be interesting. Each of their personalities is changing and growing in a way that makes me want to pull them out of the book and allow them to be normal teens again.
