I'm going to be completely honest, I did not love the beginning of this book. So much of the early moments felt like a drag to get through, more about petty interpersonal drama than the actual story at hand, but once this book gets going, it REALLY gets going. Out of the whole series, this one had the most starts and stops, but the action is worth the pauses.

an excellent sequel to this series. once again questions of morality are raised and just like the first book it ends with a bang. this is where this series really begins to question human nature and while interesting Ellie's musing on the subjects can work to slow the book down. while a lot happens in this book not much really changes and so in that sense the book is almost a let down, it is still enjoyable though and does create the atmosphere that something big is coming.

Actually pretty good, a little bit of second book itis but the filler was entertaining. Quick, easy read and loving the development of all the characters.

I liked it, but I don’t know if I liked it as much as the first. Chris just pissed me off. The thing with the other camp pissed me off. Ellie and Lee pissed me off. But the story is still good. Just need to see how the next one goes.

A good sequel to the gripping first part to this series and a nice quick read. I seriously enjoy this series and can't wait to get into the third!
