Still really enjoying this series, yet I found Frieda Klein rather annoyingly stoic in this one. I realize that's always been her portrayed personality, but in this book I found it irritating.

Tension is rising. More personal interest as Frieda gets personally involved in a murder. The Dean Reeve theme is starting to become a bit more prominent, slowing bubbling toward what I anticipate in the final book/final showdown. Definitely had to suspend my disbelief a bit when
SpoilerFrieda decides to run away from the police and all her friends will do literally anything for her.
Overall engaging plot and satisfying thriller elements.
