I guess our FMC can't get a break! In this book we get a lot of answers, discovering the truth of the past. We got a murder and Sloane goes back to be treated bad. Not only is she dealing with all this and now she has to deal with sickness in her little family. When things were looking really bad, she finds solace in the most unlikely person. we see the development of the characters and their relationships and then, you guess it! News that change everything and as advertise another cliffhanger. Don't be mad because we just have to get our hands on book 3.

I don't have anything bad to say. Yes, the "little" thing is still annoying. However, I'm now getting accustomed to it. The mysterious aspect was most fun for me because I figured it out in book 1 and was waiting on Sloane to figure it out too.

Did not see that one coming

I was prepared to hate Dorian for doubting Sloane but he redeemed himself in the end. I adored Wolf for how he was with Sloane. He was so sweet in his own way, totally different from how he acted towards her in the first book. I love the Court kids and how they got each other’s backs. That big reveal at the end though! The third book couldn’t come any sooner!

“To assume is to make an ass out of you and me” should be fucking tattooed on Dorian’s face. Dumb motherfucker fr. Also I know that every 18-year old’s mantra is “I am a grownup and I can do it on my own” but as a 25-year old. I wanna sit these motherfuckers down, give them a juice box and tell them to shut the fuck up.

I got this book off TikTok and I really enjoyed it. I loved the storyline and even though I could kind of guess straight off the bat that she was going to be the sister I still really enjoyed reading it and getting to know the characters in the storyline, it was a really good book. Here’s the situation though it was very frustrating with the miscommunication like goddamn how long are they going to miscommunicate and maybe this is why this isn’t my favorite genre anymore because I can’t deal with the BS that is going on with the miscommunication and just not being honest with anyone like goddamn. Anyways is a great book and I’m gonna be really excited to read the third one.

Here’s another thing I read books to have a good time and did I have a good time? I sure did!!! So I will give out my four stars, because I was twiddling my thumbs and kicking my feet the whole time, and I had a great time . So I will be reading the third book and I’m quite excited.
