It’s a pretty good book, but I don’t like how much nate bodyshames mrs Godfrey. It also showed struggles middle schoolers have and how it affects their life.

Before reading
Just placed the order, eagerly waiting....

After reading

This book was perfect! I was bit let down by last installment but this one was awesome!

Seriously at one point, I choked out with emotions and wanted to cry *tiny sob*. It was heart touching, heart warming, cute over the top book.

And we have new character in this one as well - Ruby <3

Big Nate is just such a classic and I still love these books every time I read them, even as a high schooler.

The narrator of these books is still fabulous. You can totally imagine the characters based on his voices.
Big Nate is wrapped up in several projects again. First is his new crush, Ruby. Too bad Randy has a crush on her as well. The two have clashed before and, after Nate writes an article making fun of Randy in one of his Bugle Blasts, they have to do counseling with Gina AND be partners on the school field trip. But it's that field trip makes Nate realize that Randy might not be SO bad.

I don't care how old you are, these books are fun. A younger family member always lends these to me and I find them so amusing. And Nate himself, although he's a perpetual 6th grader, has matured in sone adorable ways.

Speed reading a series I enjoyed in primary school (and still do) in an attempt to complete my reading challenge.
