4 stars. I'm not going to write a full review, but I am really enjoying this series. I like the world being built, all the interesting characters and the love story developing between Dev, Daniel and Zoey.

After a couple of chapters I still wasn't interested, and the first meeting with the blind date was enough to get me to stop reading.

Not for me.

This is the first book I've read of Lexi Blake's, and it will not be the last! I enjoyed the plot, characters, and writing.

A lot happens in a small amount of space. Good though.

I have been a fan of paranormal romance ever since I read Twilight by Stephanie Meyer. I m always drawn to magic, folklore and paranormal activity. I guess I am weird like that. Steal the Light encompasses everything that is magical and brilliant. It was a rich paranormal story that frankly thrilled me. It was mysterious, angsty and just riveting book that gripped me in from the first sentence to the last sentence. I was so intrigued.

Lexi Blake is known for the Master and Mercenaries series. I freaking love that series and it is one of my favourite series from her. But now the Thieves series is proving to be my other favourite series. There was something so unique and emotional about Steal the Light that it completely touched every fiber of me. Paranormal romance is known for action and suspense but this one was different because it had that extra emotional element that rocked me to the core.

The characters were so explosive. They each told a very special story that was so sensational that it added so much depth to the story. Zoey and Daniel have been through a lot of pain and heart ache that it completely ached my story. I felt for them more than any couple I have ever felt.

Steal the Light really was an exceptional paranormal story that you definitely have to read.

Vampires, werewolves, witches, demons, fae,a love triangle, this book has it all. Zoey Wharton is a thief of arcane objects who gets in over her head when she is tricked into stealing an artifact for a demon. As she does everything she can to save her soul and the soul of Daniel, a vampire and her true love, she finds out quite a few things about herself.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story. Neil, who is a werewolf is one of the members of the crew and always has Zoey's back is an interesting character. He is not your typical were. I have to say that my favorite character is Dev. He is Fae and shunned by his people for being a halfling. He is charming, sexy, handsome and rich and also wants Zoey. Makes for an interesting love triangle. There are many other subplots throughout the story that make you want to stay up all night to finish reading the book. This is a great series and I can't wait to read the next books.

This one took me a while to read, not that it was too long it was just that I truly and deeply did not like Daniel. I kept yelling at Zoey in my head and calling her all sorts of stupid. Bonus, however, for being set in Dallas and also Denton in the beginning. Since I'm in the DFW area.

It's definitely interesting. I'm curious to see where this ends.

This damn book ensnared me!! I had to read all of them! Although i'm not too crazy about the main character, I loved the men. So funny and kept me entertained throughout the story.
