Ok, so.. technically this book is a cliffy, but not for the MMC /FMC, just the story continues in the next book.
AND I BELIEVE THE SERIES IS COMPLETE!!
This was my first book by this author, I did try another book once but wasn’t in the headspace .
This was good!! I will continue with the series.

The book was underwhelming and the author’s perception of the MC as a scientist had me cackling as if all we ever do is think about science and how everything is related to science. However, I did like the new spin on using light magic as a possible small nuke.

This is the fourth book in the Fae Guardians series. Indigo is a vampire guardian sent on a mission to find a Well Blessed human from the past. Violet has been on her own for several years after waking up in a strange place and time. They both have to fight their natures to learn to work together especially after Well Blessed mating marks show up on them. Indigo has become one of my favorite guardians especially after the way he completely accepts the mating and does everything he can to make it easier on Violet. She struggles because of all the things she had to do to survive and her feelings of guilt. As they work to help the other guardians in saving this new world, the bond grows stronger. I was finally able to really like Violet as she became stronger through the story.
The world Lana builds in this series is beautiful and deadly. The characters have depth that draw me in and cause me to invest in their lives. I highly recommend this book to anyone that loves fantasy, action, and romance.
