Penguin's kite is on the loose! His friends try to help but they all get blown away to the jungle. They need a plan to return home to the cold. It is a story in rhyme which makes the story a quick read. There are also great moments to break and count together as a group.

2018 storytime theme: arctic animals

Reviewed from a library copy.

This was charming! Probably would work better for preschool storytime than toddler, but one to keep in mind especially for penguin storytimes.

pretty cute!

Another bedtime favourite.

A lovely book with great pictures, a fun story, a bit of counting and a cheeky monkey.

Great illustrations, and lots of humour.

Not sure if the book is that good or if I just needed some comic relief at the end of a long day, but this cracked me up.

Great illustrations, but I didn't love the rhyming text. Why does it have to rhyme? The premise was decent.

Super adorable book about penguins and friends heading on an adventure. They go to a new place, meet new friends, and find their way home.

Cute story but the illustrations really make it shine with lots of little surprises and fun details to find.
