I found the illustrations far more enchanting than the story, but all in all a cute book :)

Adorable! Another great book about a penguin flying!

Rhymey and fun. I really liked this one!

Fun rhyming story of a kite ride that gets out of hand. Clever ending!

liked the originality near the climax.
rhyming felt forced or off in a few places.

A very cute book, written in rhyme, that shows the adventure penguin has when he is taken away on a kite. The animals work together to help penguin and get back home. The pictures are small so it would make a better one-on-one story.

Kirkus called this "A master-class of picture-book writing and illustrating," which is why I picked it up. It took a slight fall from that high bar (which likely comes from my snobbery about rhyme and digital illustration: both are so hard to do well). But those are just form, and the story here is fun.

A cute book with a solid rhyme and story.

Minus one hundred billion points for the polar bear in the Antarctic.

(Also, that poor little monkey!!)

notes: Penguin blown away and taken on a journey through his frozen world.

opinion: cute illustrations, liked the rhyming

A nice rhyming story for a kite storytime. Or a travel storytime. Or a silly storytime.

A kite can be an adventure, but it is always nice to be home.
