The plot was fine; I didn’t really guess the killer but that’s because the story was so focused on everything else that there weren’t many details to go off of. I didn’t mind the other stuff, although the love triangle was a weird addition to the story. It’s a fine story, good for passing time. Very much a cozy mystery

It was…fine? Light hearted fun? Sage is just really tipping into Mary Sue territory with her family connections and all the boys who have a thing for her and her amazing bar skills and her great barrista ways and, oh yeah, she’s the model!

The author seemed to love Portland though.

A delightful cozy mystery filled with memorable characters and an interesting mystery. I found myself craving a cup of coffee as I read and thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Sage and Harley. I can't wait to read more books in the series!
