Wasn't sure what was happening at points - was he crazy, was he not? - but I enjoyed it enough. Not my favourite but an interesting plot
Graphic: Kidnapping and Murder
Moderate: Torture, Violence, and Injury/Injury detail

The basic plot was good. However, there were too many characters and a lot going on. I'm not sure if the issue was it being an audiobook or if it was the book. I may just try to watch the show.

Well folks, I did it. I finally read a James Patterson book. All I have to say is wtf America, this is our favorite author? Very choppy and no character development. I did not buy the twist about his love interest at all. The general plot did keep my attention at least. Not the worst book I have ever read, but I was expecting a tad better.

My son gave me this for Christmas a few years ago and I read it then - what a thriller! I'm culling right now, and almost kept it - but who's got time to read books over again?! So, I've just now glanced at a few pages in the middle and read the last two chapters. Yes! I'm ready for number 2 in the series.

The one and only book by James Patterson that I enjoyed. I know he's popular, but just not for me.

All I have to say is, "why the heck was Morgan Freeman casted as Alex Cross?!"
