DNF i never found myself gravitating towards it- it was incredibly mid - fast paced but that’s about it… maybe too outdated & the setting itself did nothing for me!

More like a 3.5 - Basic thriller - obvious twists but the narration was ace.

Not all that thrilling or entertaining, and I am neverrrr reading another book about a Black main character written by a white man again

This is an incredible mystery that truly keeps you guessing. The characters are great and the plot is insane. It's dark and intense. One of the best I've ever read and I can't wait to read more of the Alex Cross series! Definitely a perfect first book for the series.
